Nondual Readings in the Talmud March 5784 Series

Over three evenings (3/19/2024, 3/26/2024, 4/2/2024,) I met with a group of practitioners to meditate, be in solitude together, practice absorption using niggunim hassidic melodies, and dive into the wisdom of the Talmud, the 1500 year old tome of Jewish wisdom, through fresh nondual eyes. Reflecting on the story of Khuma Drops her Sleeve (Ketubot 65a:9) Gamliel and the Moons (Mishnah Rosh Hashanah 2:8,) and Reb Yossei Praying in a Ruin (Berakhot 3a:12.)

We found new insights into beholding ones mind, the relation ship between awareness, perception and content; how to be with trauma and mental duress; how to practice this very moment with attention and care.

These were mere icebreakers, offered in hopes to break the 'book-barrier,' to encourage everyone to feel fully capable and welcome to engage with these texts towards more clarity and connection, especially in these days where our minds and hearts are stretched and strained.

Below is two recording of one such learning, one of the practice section, and another for the study:
