The Jewish calendar wastes no time, and is intelligently composed - A week following Tisha (9) b’Av, marking brokenness and despair, is Tu (15) b'Av, a day dedicated to historical and mystical forms of love of lovers and the love of awareness itself. I invite you to an informal musical gathering online to celebrate it, on 8/1/2023 8pm-9:30pm ET. I will give some context and have a song-list and eagerness to share it - I myself need to replenish! Especially in these days of distress, uncertainty, uprising and uproar, it will be a wonderful way to continue the ascend towards the month of Elul and the High Holidays, and most importantly, continue familiarizing oneself with the inherent and ceaseless awareness that pervades these cycles of brokenness and restoration, dissolution and emergence, separation and love.
