Oseh Shalom, Hebrew for peace-maker, is one of the name of the nondual / God in the Torah and throughout Jewish Liturgy. The Kabbalist Jewish mystics saw as intermediaries, enablers, facilitators of the union of the absolute and the relative, God and Creation - Peace. Hebrew Peacemaker recognizes that Presence itself is the manifestation of peace, and it is in our capacity to be its ushers - to reveal, invoke, and release into the Presence that which is already here. This Presence cannot be owned, manufactured, it is mysterious and intelligent. Within it, nervous systems disarm, psychological binds are released, blame, grief and yearning find their refuge. Hebrew Peacemaker embraces trauma-informed, meditative, liturgical, psycho-dynamic, psychonautic, psychedelic, artistic and other modalities that facilitate this Presence across cultures, languages and spiritual traditions.
Hebrew Peacemaker weaves Presence from Nonviolent Communication, Way of Council, dialogue modalities with Jewish cantorial rituals, training with Jewish visionaries Zen Buddhist teacher and social entrepreneur Bernie Glassman, and international peace-builder Dr. Paula Green, recognized by His Holiness the Dalai Lama as “Unsung Hero of Compassion.”
